Zensar develops ERP solution for SMEs

Software services provider Zensar Technologies Ltd as developed a solution for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector for the domestic market. Zensar’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution is powered by Microsoft’s Dynamics ERP, which is a solution from Microsoft for mid-sized organizations with industry-specific functionality for specialized industries.

According to Zensar, this web-based ERP solution is developed to fulfill the specific needs of emerging Indian small and mid-size manufacturing companies, who are facing multiple challenges of high growth, shortage of in-house IT systems and talent, and budget restraints.

“SMEs play a vital role in the economy and need IT enablements that are world class, affordable and customized to the Indian environment. We have leveraged our software development, hosting and cloud computing expertise in collaboration with leading OEMs to provide best-in-class hosted ERP software to the SME Automotive cluster in the country. Our vision is to expand our offerings in the SME market segment to other clusters such as Leather, Textile”, said Harsh Kohli, associate vice president and head, manufacturing vertical, Zensar.

As a part of the partnership with Microsoft, Zensar will manage the entire solution including Microsoft Dynamics Navision Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, cloud infrastructure, company specific configuration, application and training support and program management. The solution was devised with specific inputs from OEMs, industry experts and was supported by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) to bring an architecture with in-built capabilities and low pricing dynamics making it a best fit solution for the manufacturing SME clusters in India.
