Uttam Galva Steels, today said that it has increased the prices of its products in the spot market and monthly contract by Rs 6,000 per tonne.

Uttam Galva Steels is one of India's leading manufacturer and exporter of value-added steel. The increase in prices is with effect from April 1, a press release issued here stated.

In the domestic market, the company is a major supplier to the automobile, white goods, general engineering and construction industries.

The company currently exports its products to 142 countries including Australia, France, Germany, Greece, the UK and USA, the release said.
