The Dow Jones ended at 10185, stronger by 118 points or 1.1%, Nasdaq closed at 2171, higher by 23 points or 1.1% and S&P shut at 1089, up 15 points or 1.4%.

The Indian ADRs ended in the green. Tata Motors closed at $15.65, higher by $1 or 6.9%, Wipro ended at $20.99, higher by $1.3 or 6.6% and Patni Computers closed at $20.33, up $1.1 or 6%.
