Reliance Communications (RCom) has launched ‘Samachar’, a service that provides text news in Hindi and vernacular languages.

The service provides text news in Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. The service is supported by mobile and web applications provider Webdunia.com.
