| IT & Bankex slip on the NSE |

The markets continue its good run with the Sensex up 66 points at 18,626 while the Nifty added 17 points at 5,594.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the IT and the Bank index has slipped into the red, down 0.2% and 0.1% respectively. In the IT space, 11 scrips have advanced while nine scrips have declined. The gainers here are Moserbear up 3%, Educomp gaining 2% and Tech Mahindra adding 1% each. The draggers here are HCL Infosystems, Rolta, Core Projects and Technologies and Tulip down 0.1%-0.6%.
In the banking space, seven scrips have declined as against five advances. Oriental Bank of Commerce, HDFC Bank,Bank of India and Axis Bank down 0.8% are the major draggers on the NSE.
Ambuja Cement up 7%, ACC gaining 4.5%, IDEA adding nearly 4%, Suzlon up nearly 3% are the major gainers.
The losers on the NSE are Ranbaxy down nearly 2%, Power Grid, Unitech, Tata power, HDFC shedding 1% each are the major losers.
