Banglaore-based Infosys, today announced leadership changes by swapping the heads of manufacturing and finance business units.
B G Srinivas, Global Head of Manufacturing and Engineering business, will take over as the new leader of the company’s Financial Services and Insurance business.
The present Global Head of Infosys Financial Services and Insurance business Ashok Vemuri, will now head the company’s Manufacturing and Engineering business.
“We have always focused on giving leaders a diverse set of experiences over time to fully realise their potential. Ashok and BG’s track record in leading high growth organisations have been superb. This change allows them to leverage cross-industry experience to help our clients,” said S D Shibulal, CEO and MD, Infosys.
The change are effective April 1, 2012. Both Vemuri and Srinivas, will continue with their existing regional leadership responsibilities for America and Europe respectively.
