Elitecore deploys 10 successful WiMAX platform in 18 months

Ahmedabad-based Elitecore Technologies, a leading telecom software provider, announced 10 successful WiMAX roll outs in South East Asia, Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe regions. The company has deployed WiMAX 16e and 16d CSN platform within a period of 18 months.

Elitecore WiMAX CSN platform is interoperable with leading ASN gateway, DPI, OMA-DM server supporting a truly open WiMAX ecosystem. "WiMAX is a key enabler to drive broadband penetration in the emerging and developing markets. With 10 successful deployments we are among the leading OSS BSS vendors from India to offer a pre-integrated platform with proven case studies," said Vaibhav Mehta, vice president, new business development, Elitecore Technologies.

Elitecore offers an advantage to WiMAX service providers by offering a pre-integrated WiMAX CSN Platform, AAA, Policy Manager (PCRF), BSS, customer care, rating and charging (OCS) enabling faster roll out and flexibility to select the complete solution or standalone components.

"The solution is future ready to support next generation services such as high-speed internet, IPTV, VoIP, and other services on the same platform. Elitecore WiMAX CSN supports retail WiMAX services such as wireless broadband, on demand services, VoIP, content services VAS services as well as wholesale multi site WiMAX deployments. Moreover, through pre-integrated WiMAX solution, Elitecore offers a cost advantage to services providers," said Mehta.

Elitecore offers CRESTEL–BRM , EliteAAA software and NetVertex (PCRF) to telecom companies across the globe.

The company was recently awarded by the leading analysts firm Frost & Sullivan under the category of price performance value leadership OSS BSS software - billing and charging.

A Carlyle investee, Elitecore has presence across 78 countries with focus on telecom, networks and security with products like CRESTEL, ELiteAAA, NetVertex, 24Online and Cyberoam.

The company also has presence with tier I - tier III operators for WiMAX 16e & 16d deployments, VoIP roll outs, converged data networks roll outs, convergent prepaid postpaid roll out, and turnkey deployment.
