Most of the base metals rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to firm demand from industrial users coupled with stockists buying. Meanwhile, aluminium utensils fell marginally on reduced offtake from consumer industries.

Nickel hardened by Rs 15 per kilo to Rs 1,105 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,090 and tin increased by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,130 as against Rs 1,125 of last weekend.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 387, Rs 379 and Rs 415 respectively.

Copper armiture, copper sheets cutting, brass utensils scrap, brass sheets cutting and zinc inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 366, Rs 361, Rs 258, Rs 267 and Rs 121.

However, aluminium utensils scrap eased by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 90 from Rs 93 last weekend.
