Balaji Telefilms slumps 5% on Q4 loss

Balaji Telefilms recovered marginally and it ended at Rs 41.50, down over 5%.

The counter witnessed trades of 468,517 shares on the BSE.

Balaji Telefilms has slumped 7% following a loss in Q4.

The stock opened down at Rs 42, down 4%. It touched a low of Rs 40.30.

The stock is now trading at Rs 40.85, down 7%. The counter has witnessed trades of over 43,614 shares.

The company informed BSE through a press release yesterday, that they have incurred a net loss of Rs 14.62 crore in Q4FY09. They has reported a net profit of Rs 23.85 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The total income of the company has declined from Rs 96.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 to Rs 49.41 crore in the quarter under review of the current fiscal.
